Choosing a Moisturiser

During the winter months our skin faces its worst time.

Both central heating and air conditioning contribute to our skin dehydrating. Cold temperatures outside stress the skin and weaken the skin’s protective barrier causing your skin to dry our further. Steamy hot showers although soothing, are harsh to the skin, washing off the skins natural oils and leaving it dry and vulnerable.

Moisturisers are the essential health drink of the skin. The glow and finesse we see on well-groomed skin is actually the result of an extensive skin care regimen, finished off with a detailed moisturising routine.
Moisturisers perform the very crucial functions of protecting the skin from free radicals, and keeping moisture locked in preventing your skin from drying out. It is for such reasons that you need to choose your moisturiser carefully.

The first thing you need to check for when selecting the moisturiser is that it suits your skin type. There are many on the market to choose from, something out there is perfect for you.  Make sure that it smells good, the moisturiser should feel extremely soft on your skin and should be absorbed easily without any greasiness. You don’t need to break the bank to take good care of your skin. Most of the top brands are so expensive because they spend millions advertising, passing the cost down to you.
